The Indian economy is on a high-growth trajectory and is poised to become the third largest in the world by 2030. This presents immense opportunities as well as challenges for businesses, as they adapt to new and evolving business models and client expectations. At the same time, the tax environment is undergoing a radical transformation, driven by global and domestic reforms, digitalisation, and increased scrutiny and compliance. In this context, the finance and tax functions need to work together to create value, manage risks and leverage technology.
Against this backdrop, PwC India hosted its annual flagship forum, India Tax Symposium 2024, from April 11–13 in Goa. The forum brought together industry leaders and tax experts to discuss and navigate the latest developments in the Indian tax landscape.
