In a TEDx session at IIM Calcutta, PwC India's advisory leader Arnab Basu spoke about innovative ideas and strategies that challenge traditional thinking in leadership. In a session titled ‘Revolutionising Mindsets’, he also spoke about a shift in perspectives in today's dynamic world, and how reshaping one's mindset is crucial to lead organisations. Being an alumnus of IIM Calcutta, he also shared his journey, the leaders who have inspired him and his learnings so far with an emphasis on building trust and having a forward-looking approach.

Campus Contender 2024 is buzzing with energy! With over 3000+ individual registrations rolled in, 800 teams formed (team registrations), 543 teams took the challenge in Round 1 to 200+ teams advancing to Round 2, our case study competition is reaching new heights. This was the third season of our flagship programme which aims at bringing together the firm’s leaders and training and placement officers of leading educational institutions. With ‘Recognise trends today. Be Better Enablers Tomorrow’ as the theme this year, the conversations during the event revolved around the consulting lifecycle, environmental, social, and governance (ESG), and a holistic view of the learning and development initiatives that aid in the transition from campus to corporate. Our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us and made this event successful.

Reverse Panel Discussion is a post-offer engagement initiative in which our summer interns are allowed to be on the panel and ask questions directly to the firm’s leaders. This time, the event brought together engineering students, along with their campus representatives, who asked thought-provoking questions to our panelists, Mukesh Deshpande, Partner – Advisory, Sharmistha Bagchi, Partner – Advisory, and Shakir Iqbal, Senior Director – Talent Acquisition and Human Capital. From industry insights to personal anecdotes, the discussion was an enriching exchange that inspired the participants.

Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow
On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Campus team in collaboration with Diversity and Inclusion hosted an event for our 2002 batch of female candidates and interns.
On March 8, Arnab Basu sent out wishes to all female participants of the event. Later in the day, a panel discussion was held where panelists shared their experience and journey at PwC. They offered guidance and tips on what new joinees can expect as they enter the corporate world. The event was quite insightful and interactive and had some great questions posed by participants on what to expect from campus to corporate, work-life balance, work culture and values, ESG integration.
