Revolutionising Minds

In a TEDx session at IIM Calcutta, PwC India's advisory leader Arnab Basu spoke about innovative ideas and strategies that challenge traditional thinking in leadership. In a session titled ‘Revolutionising Mindsets’, he also spoke about a shift in perspectives in today's dynamic world, and how reshaping one's mindset is crucial to lead organisations. Being an alumnus of IIM Calcutta, he also shared his journey, the leaders who have inspired him and his learnings so far with an emphasis on building trust and having a forward-looking approach.

Campus Contender 2024

Campus Contender 2024 is buzzing with energy! With over 3000+ individual registrations rolled in, 800 teams formed (team registrations), 543 teams took the challenge in Round 1  to 200+ teams advancing to Round 2, our case study competition is reaching new heights. The Round 2 of the competition, is in full swing and the excitement is real. Stay tuned for more updates!

Campus Conclave Season 3

On 5 July, PwC hosted Campus Conclave 2024 across its offices in Gurugram, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Kolkata. This was the third season of our flagship programme which aims at bringing together the firm’s leaders and training and placement officers of leading educational institutions. With ‘Recognise trends today. Be Better Enablers Tomorrow’ as the theme this year, the conversations during the event revolved around the consulting lifecycle, environmental, social, and governance (ESG), and a holistic view of the learning and development initiatives that aid in the transition from campus to corporate. Our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us and made this event successful.

Leader on Campus

At PwC India, we strongly believe in the power of continuous learning, fostering knowledge, and forging connections, and that ethos is further validated by our leaders when they take the stage across leading Indian campuses to engage in meaningful conversations with young talent on different compelling topics.

Our leaders share valuable insights, experiences, and perspectives on topics ranging from industry trends and professional development to sustainable future and inspiring the next generation of talent. This opportunity also helps us in connecting with students and building lasting relationships with them.

Below are the sessions conducted:

  • Shirin Sehgal visited Master’s Union for an insightful guest lecture session on the topic ‘Generative AI and its impact on human capital’ and Ashoka University where she shared insights on the topic ‘Navigating Consulting Career: A Holistic View on culture, career transition, and student readiness.
  • Mahesh Parab visited Mithbai College and shared his insights on ‘Changing trends in Gen AI’ with the students during their orientation programme.
  • Rajnil Malik engaged in panel discussion on the topic ‘The potential of Generative AI: The next productivity frontier’ at Shiv Nadar University.
  • Abhijit Majumdar conducted an insightful masterclass at SPJIMR on the topic ‘Digital Transformation’.
  • Madhura Mitra visited IIM Calcutta and shared her insights on the topic ESG/ sustainability, how firms are evolving with respect to it and how PwC views/works with it.

Reverse Panel Discussion

Reverse Panel Discussion is a post-offer engagement initiative in which our summer interns are allowed to be on the panel and ask questions directly to the firm’s leaders. This time, the event brought together engineering students, along with their campus representatives, who asked thought-provoking questions to our panelists, Mukesh Deshpande, Partner – Advisory, Sharmistha Bagchi, Partner – Advisory, and Shakir Iqbal, Senior Director – Talent Acquisition and Human Capital. From industry insights to personal anecdotes, the discussion was an enriching exchange that inspired the participants.

  • PwC India’s Markets Leader Vivek Prasad delivered a talk on  ‘How to prepare for corporate life and what to expect once you step in as a working professional’ at NM College.

Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow

On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Campus team in collaboration with Diversity and Inclusion hosted an event for our 2002 batch of female candidates and interns.

On March 8, Arnab Basu sent out wishes to all female participants of the event. Later in the day, a panel discussion was held where panelists shared their experience and journey at PwC. They offered guidance and tips on what new joinees can expect as they enter the corporate world. The event was quite insightful and interactive and had some great questions posed by participants on what to expect from campus to corporate, work-life balance, work culture and values, ESG integration.
