What was your role when you first joined the firm?

I first joined PwC in 2010 as a consultant in the SPO office, Mumbai and part of the Advisory Risk Consulting (then called Risk Advisory Services).

What were your initial impressions and experiences?

I remember being a little lost and kept trying to figure out the who, what, when, where and how of everything! Thankfully, my team and seniors helped steer me onto the right path.

What experiences or roles did you undertake after leaving?

After four years at PwC, I took up a role as manager-IT governance at a leading shipping firm with the objective of attaining industry experience and to also see what life is like on the other side of the table. The second time was when I went on a maternity break to give birth to two beautiful souls - my twin daughters.

What motivated you to rejoin PwC?

The right opportunity at the right time at the right location. I was really happy to be back. It was like a home coming.
