What was your role when you first joined the firm?
I joined the firm in April 2011 and was associated for more than 7.5+ years as the human resource business partner for a line of business
What were your initial impressions and experiences?
My experience back then was great. I still remember one of the senior partners' address, where he mentioned that the abbreviation for PwC should be People who Care. That still stands true.
What experiences or roles did you undertake after leaving?
I have specialised as a human resource business partner, and I continued in the same line in one of the Big Five where I led the advisory human capital practice.
What motivated you to rejoin PwC?
I think the culture and people who I worked with as a team brought me back. When I left PwC in November 2018, I was practically in touch with almost everyone I knew so I never felt that I had moved on. It was great to come back and be part of the onboarding process, as it was one of the initiatives where I used to take a specific session. So, it was good that for a change I got to sit on the other side of the table and listen in since the firm had grown by leaps and bounds. Right from the office boys to the partners, all were gracious and offered me a warm welcome back which really makes a huge difference.
