PwCDSPL CSR Committee

Section 135(9) of the Companies Act, 2013 provides that till such time the amount to be spent by a Company under Section 135(5) does not exceed INR Fifty Lakhs, the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee may not be constituted, and its functions can be discharged by the Board of Directors of the Company. Basis latest audited financial statements of the Company, the Company is not required to spend INR Fifty Lakhs or more under Section 135(5) as CSR spend. Accordingly, the Company shall not constitute a CSR Committee and the functions of such Committee as prescribed under law will be discharged by the Board of Directors of the Company.

Padmaja has over 25 years of consulting experience across business and human capital advisory across diverse industries. Before joining PwC in 2011, Padmaja was in leadership roles in Mercer Consulting and AF Ferguson & Co. She has also been a member of CII's National HR Committee as well as its Committee on Skill Development.

Padmaja is a founding partner of Social Venture Partners, a philanthropic organisation committed to making a difference at a local level.

Biswanath Bhattacharya is the Founder Director of PricewaterhouseCoopers Digital Services Pvt. Ltd. Prior to that, he worked for Digital Equipment, Compaq and Hewlett Packard holding senior positions. Earlier he was Chief Executive Officer of HCL Services.

Biswanath has over 35 years of experience in building and turning around technology companies. He is focused on creating digital transformation for clients and developing new product lines to enhance client expectations.
He is passionate about building empowered organisations that create motivated employees. He enjoys mentoring young leaders and is committed to supporting parents and caregivers of hemophilic patients.
 

Asha Ramanathan is the Chief Operating Officer at PwC India and a member of its India Leadership Team. She also leads PwC India’s agenda to become Net Zero by 2030. A passionate auditor, seasoned professional with deep technical expertise and an industry leader with close to 30 years of experience, Asha has led large, complex engagements for clients across a vast range of sectors. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant who joined the firm in 2009 and has since spearheaded pivotal portfolios for the firm, including Diversity and Inclusion, Regional Learning and Education and Corporate Social Responsibility - actively advocating and working towards greater diversity, specifically gender, focusing on upskilling across teams and actively pursuing the PwC India Foundation’s objectives of making an impact in the areas of education, WASH, social entrepreneurship and environmental sustainability.

Asha is a gardening enthusiast, loves to go on road trips and treks, enjoys cooking the choicest recipes for her family and has recently set out to read and understand the Bhagavad Gita.
