Governments around the world face several complex issues and are constantly challenged to deliver public services in the most efficient way within the constrained resources. The challenges for the governments have been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic where the need to support businesses and people have grown.
We, at PwC, leverage our diverse human capital to solve important problems faced by society and governments. We have worked extensively with governments at both national and sub-national levels, and have managed large programmes with a team of over 1,500 specialists for over 15 years.
We also work closely with the multilateral agencies like Asian Development Bank, United Nations Agencies, and the World Bank on their technical assistance programmes for the government agencies. Our teams have also worked on programmes supported by bilateral development cooperation agencies such as Japan (JICA, JBIC), Germany (GIZ, KfW), United Kingdom (FCDO), and Swiss Development among others.
Through our engagements, we have successfully created opportunities for strategic change and enhancement of institutional capacity and also worked in domains such as domestic resource management, public financial management, digital government, logistics, telecom, banking, health, education, skill development, urban development, government public services, trade and economics among others. We have embedded the environmental, social and governance (ESG) aspects in all our projects while working towards the goal of sustainable and inclusive development.
